The old cat and mouse game…

This is Todd (named for a Rockies player), playing his very favorite game, cat and mouse, just around lunchtime. Our son took the picture through a window and screen, hence the slightly blurry texture of the photo. We employ two cats, and they do a phenomenal job of hunting down the rodents who would like to find their way into our retreat lodge. For years, we paid an exterminator to do the same job, but I must say, our happy little kitty cats do a far better job. And don’t tell them, but we pay them far less than we did the exterminator.

Heheheh.
We had a russian blue mix years ago named Banjo that played the cat and mouse game for hours. Poor little mousies. He never set teeth to them, he just wore them out.

We had a neighborhood cat who tormented the mice and our boys tormented the cat.
