Spam!
by Rosemary ~ February 27th, 2007When I was growing up, Spam was something that we Tennesseeans fried and ate on a sandwich or with eggs and potatoes. I guess it’s still around, though I haven’t eaten it in decades. Anyway, now spam has entered this blog rather visciously, so you may have to wait a bit for your comments to appear. I don’t like to do that, but I have to at least temporarily to thwart the persistent spammers. If you’ve been unfortunate enough to see evidence of their presence, I apologize.

Oh Rosemary I am sorry to hear of this misfortune. I have read on so many other blogs that this is happening alot to date. Virus’s seem to pop up alot in March and Sept. Don’t these folks have nothing else to do? I am sure it will hit me soon, too. Eventually we will all have to have registered commenter’s only. Such a shame. Keep up your work … I enjoy your blog very much. I am here everyday! Sometimes twice!

Hi Rosemary!
Just to let you know that we have here in Austin Minnesota the Spam Museum — of the fried kind! It is very much alive and well, manufactured by Hormel. On their website hormel.com you will find many creative recipes using what are now many varieties of spam. You might want to try some for your next BIC group!!!!!!!!!!
