It’s snowing in our neck of the woods in Colorado! We woke up to about 3 inches, and it’s continued to snow all day. We had so much snow last year, the thought of snow season beginning is a bit daunting. But it’s gorgeous, and we’re warm and cozy. Not bad; not bad at all.

What an amazing contrast to our blustery hot Santa Ana wind day in Southern California. Enjoy your coziness!!

It is beautiful! It is in the mid 80’s here in FL. Enjoy the wonderful white covering. I am sure you will make some yummy warm soup too!

Yes, and thank you. The snow has stopped, and because tomorrow is going to be sunny and much warmer, it will melt quickly. We’re thankful for the much needed-moisture!
I think I prefer the snow over Ellen’s hot Santa Ana winds. Hope you cool off soon, Ellen!

What a beautiful spot! I can imagine becoming a hermit right there…with a crackling fire, a warm drink, and good company. (Be that human, a book, DVD, or music — or some combo thereof!) Definitely prefer the snow over excessive heat!

Oh, Rosemary! I can’t wait for snow!
Our leaves are only JUST beginning to fall this year. Usually we are finished with all the raking and bagging by now.
It’s been a strange year for us.

Snow???!!! This “flat-lander” (who longs for the mountains of Colo.) would love to see/have a little of that–just a “little”! Enjoy!

That photo is my dream come true. Absolutely gorgeous! The weather here in Kansas has been so odd. Mid-October and we are still as green as can be! Not a leaf has changed in our neck of the woods.

So hard to imagine when our temps are in the 70s (of course, I think I’ve seen 17 snowflakes since we moved to the TN valley four years ago) :).

Oh how wonderful! We are hoping for some snow this year…we only had a light one last winter! My children love it!!! So do I! : )

I once thought snow was beautiful. I lived in the southwestern corner of Colorado for a couple of years. Oh, I still think it is nice to look out, but I don’t ever want to have to live there in the winter time again. My husband on the otherhand would jump at a chance to move back there.
