Full Moon

by Rosemary ~ May 15th, 2008

When I flopped down on the sofa tonight and looked up, I saw the full moon framed in the dormer window of our living room. It looks smaller in the picture, probably because I don’t know what I’m doing when I pick up a camera. But you get the idea. The carved head is of an antelope–they’re frequently seen in meadows around here. I named him Moses; I don’t remember why.

Beautiful! I love the full moon. There is something relaxing and soothing about the full moon when I see one.

I found your blog through another (Everyday Mommy?).

You live in a log home??? We are getting ready to build one but have no plans drawn out yet. But, we do have our lot!

    Nice to meet you!

Hi Laurie! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes, we built the log home. Actually, we’re STILL working on it. It’s beautiful, but it’s endless. Prepare yourself, if you’re going to build one…

I’d love to come and have a cup of coffee or tea with you in your log cabin. (Or maybe sitting on your swing!)

You have such a warm and welcoming home! (homes reflect their owners. . .)

Kim, it would be my pleasure to serve you anything you want! In front of the fire, on the porch in a rocker, on the swing…Come on over!

What a lovely view, the timbers, the dormer, Moses, and the moon. I love it and I’m glad you had a camera near by :0)

Thank you, Ellen. Why not stop by with Kim for the coffee and tea? But I’ll warn you, I’d probably beg you to make us some Russian tea…and bring some of your mama’s Russian delicacies with you!
