First snow–and the Rockies won!

by Rosemary ~ October 14th, 2007

If any of you are watching the Colorado Rockies vs Arizona Diamondbacks, you know that it’s been raining in Denver. We live at an altitude 2200 ft. higher than Denver, so instead of rain we had our first snowfall of the season. The ground is still warm and it melted as soon as it hit the ground.

The Rockies just won game three of the series. If they win the game tomorrow night, they’re headed for the World Series! Go Rockies!

I cannot believe I just posted something about baseball

Wow! I’m rooting for the Rockies in the NL, but I’m really worried about my Tribe’s chances if they face them in the World Series!

I’ll be honest; I never watched the Rockies until the post season and I think they are a very exciting team. They just keep going as if, well, that’s what they came to do.

    Admirable quality in a team.

How about my Tribe battling back from such a dismal start the other night?

    My diagnosis, Rosemary?

Baseball Fever. Even with snow dancing in the air. Definitely baseball fever.

Hi Rosemary! My guys left yesterday for Wolf Creek Pass, CO for elk hunting. Just spoke with them, they were in Kansas City, KS. It takes them 36 hours and they drive straight through from PA. 11 fella’s are traveling together, taking turns driving. This is my husband’s first trip. My youngest son has been coming out there for 4 years now and talked Dad into coming along. Hubby is worried about snow … but they managed before and they will have an enjoyable trip Lord willing. My guys like the Rockies, too!
