Having gone through surgery last week, I am thankful for:

God’s constant presence and care
Successful surgery
My fabulous husband, who loves me and waits on me hand and foot with neither syllable nor sigh of complaint
My sons, who do the same
Family and friends who have prayed much for me
Beautiful fresh flowers and gifts
Lots of good books to [...]

For the past two mornings I’ve been reading the sixth chapter of Ephesians, paying particular attention to verses 10 through 20 regarding putting on the whole armor of God. “Stand therefore,
